Passionate Musician

About Cass

Dramatic Soprano Cass Panuska, praised for a rich tone and electrifying stage presence, has enjoyed solo appearances with many organizations such as Berkeley Opera, Solo Opera, Pocket Opera, Opera Orlando, First Coast Opera, and most recently as Ortlinde in Die Walküre with TUNDI Productions in Brattleboro, VT. Also well-versed in contemporary music, Ms. Panuska has recorded albums of new compositions, highlighted on two John Bilotta pieces for “The Life Before Us,” produced by Parma Recordings on their Navona Records label as well as in “Meditations,” by Chaz Underriner.

In addition to excelling in opera and contemporary music, Cass is a passionate recitalist and producer, organizing – and sometimes performing in – intimate Porch Concerts held at her home. She has also co-founded an eclectic cabaret group, The Pinnacle Singers, performing unusual opera and music theatre shows in a range of venues.

Cass earned her Bachelor of Music at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and her Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from Colorado State University.
