As we wrap up construction on our house and teaching space, Banana Street Voice Studio will soon be ready to go and I am so excited to get started! The last few months have been all about organization and prep work. Now the time has come to open ourselves up to students. I am thrilled for the exciting learning experiences we have ahead of us, and for the wonderful relationships we’re about to help build!
I decided to get the year rolling by attending the NATS Winter Workshop. So here I am, having just arrived in my hotel room, updating my website newsletter with no kiddo distractions 😉 … and the entire program of workshops still ahead of me! I’m so eager to meet new people and absorb new ideas for my teaching – new repertoire, new exercises, new perspectives.
I know I’ll find so much inspiration here, and by Saturday I’ll be chomping at the bit to play in the studio with all I’ve learned and refreshed. So now I’ll rest up for tomorrow, with the sense of hope that comes with a brand new year. May 2019 bring you peace, joy, and fulfillment of dreams!
